I purchased our room using my aeroplan points. When I got to the hotel I noticed I lost my credit card. They wouldnt use my husbands card for the deposit. So we lost 36000 points because this hotel wouldnt accept this. I couldnt get a hold of aeroplan to help. The hotel needed them to confirm to allow them to use his card. We are travelling from Ontario Canada. If our address match why couldnt we use his card. The counter person was extremely rude and was rude to people before and after us

Days Inn location: 1606 Central Ave - Albany NY

This place should be shut down or manager fired. I won't get into details but I took one look at it when I checked in and ran to another hotel.

Never stayed in it and have been getting bounced between the manager there and Priceline for a full refund. Including my trip insurance. $311.58

I didn't notice the reviews of this place unitl after I rann away - but it looks like it is used as a drug haven and/or homeless shelter. Usafe and unclean.

Search the reviews on ANY web-site. they are all the same. Priceline has a nice picture of a clean hotel room. The actual Hotel is probably the nastiest hotel I have ever seen.

It smells like marijuana, cigarettes and bleach. The reception guy was unprofessional and I could barely understand him.

Called there and he answers the phone "Hello" like he's on the pot at his house answering his cell. Unbelievable!!

Recent Stay @ Days Inn Oglesby

Hello,

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Oglesby from 2/28 through 3/1. I have never received worse customer service in my life.

When I arrived, I was not greeted with a warm welcome, or even a smile. That was fine. I proceeded to go to the room after driving for hours, and the bed looked clean and made. So I got situated and I went to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, I had requested the cleaning crew to come clean my bathroom as it was filthy. I did not think it was my responsibility to check the cleanliness of the room upon the moment I arrived. The front desk employee sent the cleaning lady, and she told me that she could not clean my room because I had my cat with me. I offered to put her in her cage, or even put her in my car, seeing as they put us in a dirty room.

She stared at me, and no words came out of her mouth. Then, I proceeded to ask if I could have a clean room. Again, my response was a blank stare. The front desk employee then came and saw me, and ran around the corner to her office.

Almost as if she was hiding from me. I remained calm, and asked how it was possible for them to put me in a dirty room, and how they expect me to shower, as I was staying there for two nights. Again, absolutely no response. I even asked for a different room, and again got stared at for the third time.

I took multiple videos on my cell phone of how the bathroom was when I had arrived, and when I asked for a corporate or manager number, the same front desk lady said that she didnt have either and told me to go online. This was a horrendous and unacceptable experience. Ive worked in customer service for over 20 years, and never have I experienced anything like this. Poor customer service, refusal to rectify the situation, and an unfriendly staff that gave no solutions or responses to me.

Almost as if I wasnt even a person. I remained calm and tried to be demanding of my needs, but I was going nowhere with this crew. I refuse to pay for this stay, seeing as I came to relax and get a little peace. And I wasnt able to do either.

The rim directly above me, also was very noisy until 3 AM. Sounded like they were doing some heavy construction right above my room. I have four videos, and I would be happy to send them your way. Please help me resolve my concerns and issues.

Proof of purchase will be forwarded if you care to follow up. I can only guess this place gets low reviews all the time. Sad to think I am wasting my time. Overall two nights over $400 total for a piece of crap stay. We travel enough to know the difference between comfort and relaxation and tension with staff and poorly operating plumbing and showers. Take a look at the video. You wouldnt stay there either especially for the amount we had to pay.

The Days Inn 7018 Ocean Gateway Easton Md 21601 is very very NASTY!!! If your traveling dont stop at the Days Inn on the bay pass these people are beyond nasty mold mildew roaches bedbugs nasty rooms bad service is beyond horrible they dont see human beings they see DOLLAR SIGNS!!!

I have recently relocated bk to Maryland in July I started working to a hospital local to the hotel I booked fr an extended stay on 11-22-23 after being unstable situations with family.

I decided not having a car this would be the most stable situation for me and my Kids being only like 5 mins from my job and school, on 11-22-23 I moved into room 119 upon arrival the room was dirty and again being homeless I cleaned it I literally cleaned the shower wall with a old toothbrush and my bear hands beds looked slept in and I took all the dirty the dirty linen to the front desk informed them that I was unhappy but because I cleaned that room thats where Im staying also I didnt appreciate having to that fast word to 1-28-24 I woke up to water in the bathroom floor around 1:20pm I called to front desk no one showed around 6:30 I got to the front desk to ask for another room the front desk attendant then informed me there is no running water on that side of the building so they moved me to room 110 the next morning I realized that room had so much mold I felt sick by Tuesday! I couldnt go to work! On Tuesday night me and kids watching tv and tryin have dinner a roach crawled down the wall so we wake up Wednesday my oldest daughter says she was bit while sleeping my youngest complained about feeling sick since before we moved out of the 1st room!! But I never thought about mold til I seen how bad it is in other rooms, from 11-22-24 til this Current date I paid A total of $4,481 at this place and I refuse to allow the front desk to use scare tactics to illegally evict me when I have no place to nor transportation or away to transport my stuff without possibly infestation someone personal vehicle because I dont know if I have anything in my clothes and I have my own personal dorm room refrigerator a lot to accommodate me and my kid to make this process as comfortable as possible for us all while in transition!

They tried to enter my room twice call the police because I refuse to pay when they arent providing a safe environment for my family and I paid constantly til now!!

I have pictures and videos of just how nasty this place is!! The say free Breakfast thats a lie only oatmeal waffle maker is very nasty yogurts nasty juice and water dispensers, no WiFi pests every where no lighting in the parking lot nor surroundings the grounds one house keeper for the entire hotel which this is a two story building the structure of the building is not safe and the management takes advantage of people that is faced with homelessness and is in need of emergency housing they shouldnt be in business they take money and checks from charities knowing that this place is not up to code please dont stay at this days inn totally out date and nothing like the pictures some rooms are even gutted out its bad out there Runnnnn

Days Inn - Very Angry

We had a reservation at Days Inn address 1850 State Route 23 North, 07470 USA.

The reservation was for October 7th through the 8th when we arrived we were informed that our reservation had been canceled. We did not cancel our reservation otherwise why would we be there.

We were also informed that there was no open rooms that they were sold out due to a festival in town. Here we were Far From Home no place to stay and having to find another place to stay. We end up finding a place triple the price of that room. We have stayed at with Days Inn hundreds of times and never been treated like this.

What we want to know is how can you make this right. Otherwise you will lose a loyal customer and Word of Mouth advertisement is pretty bad.

We did not stay due to how dirty tye room was. No refund was given. - there were train tracks right behind the hotel and was incredibly loud. -the bathroom was filthy. I told the front desk that it was dirty and he brought me to the supply closet and handed me cleaning supplies. -the pool was gross. All the chairs were broken and dirty. The pool had dead bugs. -the pillow had makeup on it and the bathroom was not clean. -I did not feel safe. I am so disappointed We went home and did not stay

Brown boots and it was $136 and when I got here the man was real rude and he charged me $200 and something dollars plus $100 deposit and everything was done online by reservation he would not take the

Upon my second day staying at the days inn by Wyndham in Buckeystown md my privacy was invaded. My family and I had left our room and put the do not disturb sign on the door.

Prior to us leaving, my daughter spilled some rice on the floor, they didn't provide us with any cleaning tools, so she couldn't get it all up. When we got back to the room the rice was cleaned up but nothing else was done no towels were changed no new bedsheets just the rice was cleaned. I asked the housekeepers if they know if anyone has been in my room, and they said no one was in there, which I found very strange being as rice we couldn't clean was cleaned. The next day, my family and I left early during the day & before we left I took the do not disturb sign off of the door.

We came back to the room that night to find that the room wasn't cleaned at all and nothing was changed as far as towels, wash clothes, bedsheets. I took our trash to the dumpster myself in a trash bag because housekeeping never serviced my room. My families clothes were in black bags in the room because we were living at the location. Upon us attempting to extend our stay at Days inn we got a call from the front desk after reserving the room online from the front desk saying they would not extend our stay because our room wasn't kept up to the standards of days inn.

I was confused because the housekeeping staff at Days inn never cleaned my room and my room wasn't in any violation or filth there was just my families belongings in in bags and boxes. At this point I knew my privacy had been violated by the staff who had a picture of our clothing in the room and a small amount of trash that is in they're job description to clean. Days inn by Wyndham in Buckeystown md refused us service and kept our $90 deposit. The front desk concierge told us that they were keeping the deposit because the room was trashed the day before we checked out.

That statement was false and also even if it was true it's not legal to keep my deposit based on the condition of a room I'm still staying in. When we left the room was clean.

Overall it was a horrible experience and a waste of my hard earned money ever rooming at the days inn in Buckeystown md. The front desk concierge was also rude over the phone throughout the whole conversation.

They cleaned up the rice because they didn't want you drawing bugs and mice. That's it.

No one is going to clean around all that junk you brought into that small hotel room. No place would any sense would keep someone like you around. You can't keep a small hotel room clean. They were wise to kick you out.

It's sad that the only thing you can think of is discrimination.

That's right, they're discriminating against a trifling person who can't keep their j its clean and under control. Do better ....

I recently lost my job because I was stealing from the company and coworkers. Eventually I couldn't pay the rent.

I was evicted. The item that are in trash bags are not garbage. It us all I have. I was kicked out fo smoking in non smoking room.

I had to pay for the carpet cleaning. I punched my daughter in the face and someone reported me. She is. In a foster home.

But that is what you wanted.

Well you have your wish. She us now in a nice warm foster home.

Do not book hotel rooms through Wyndham property is websites. Their business practices are sneaky.

We all know there are lots of ways to make hotel reservations these days and everyone wants the best rate.

I typically use booking.com because I can have all my reservations in one place and keep track of them. However they do not always have all the options or the best price.

I made a reservation on booking.com for Days Inn Black River falls WI in May 2023, for a trip in August. I was unsure that would be our final destination, as I was still looking at other possibilities. But I knew it was refundable.

I later decided to look at the Days Inn website.

The rate was slightly better so I booked through their site and canceled the Days Inn reservation. A couple months later, I decided to book a campsite instead. I remembered making the reservation through booking.com. I checked and saw that it was canceled so I thought I was all good.

When the day of the trip arrived, it was storming and we were not able to set up camp at the campsite. I ended up spending money on a different hotel room. Then I come to find out I got a charge from Days Inn. I thought this was fraudulent, because to my knowledge I did not have a reservation there.

I thought it was canceled. After a bunch of research I realized that I had made two reservations and only canceled one. The thing that really pissed me off was wyndhams' original confirmation email went to my junk folder. And they never sent a confirmation closer to the date of arrival.

So I didn't have any record in my email that I could easily see. I feel like this is really their attempt to scam customers by not giving them proper alerts, so they can make extra money from people forgetting to cancel a reservation.

So basically I paid for two hotel rooms and a campsite for the same night. I'm a single mom and cannot afford this kind of expense. I contacted the manager at the hotel and discuss my plate with her.

She told me she would see what she could do about removing the charge and get back to me.

She never called me back. This company is very sketchy and I will never use them again!
